Hiding from British Raids

When the British raided Trent Hall, they landed 500 troops, including a group of sailors armed only with pikes. They marched inland to relieve the locals of tobacco. One farmer attempted to escape becoming a raid victim by hiding his tobacco in a pile of wheat inside a barn. The British discovered the ruse and after taking the tobacco, burned the barn.
