Horse Theft

Henry Canter claimed that in 1814 he sold a horse to British raiding on the Chesapeake for $28 dollars and then followed them to their camp. Henry claimed he got the horse back by whistling for it. As the story goes, the horse dutifully ran up to Henry, who then mounted it and rode home.
